Yogeshwar Dutt will be in action in the Men's freestyle 65 kg Wrestling.. all eyes on him today, last hope for another Medal..
Should have seen it to believe it Sindhu demolished Japanese girl Nozomi 21-19 in the first game and in the 2nd she walked all over the Jap after midway when the Scores were 10-10 scored 11 straight points to win the match against clueless Nozomi. What a fabulous ferocious backhand, forehand smashes back to back she literally made the Jap to bite the dust..Wooooov.

Just one Win away from the Gold Medal #Sindhu For Gold.
Sindhu facing Carolina Marin of Spain .. does it matter the above stats..guess not with the Momentum on her side, sure she would overcome and win the game.

- The End of "No Medals" for India ended when Sakshi Malik comeback in a dramatic win after trailing 0-5 in the 1st part of the bout. Most Part of the bout the Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan was in complete control but in the dying seconds Sakshi pulled a stunner to beat the Kyrg to win the "Bronze" medal play off enthralling the billions of Indians to snatch "Victory" from the Jaws of the defeat...She has created history by becoming the first women Wrestler to bag an Olympic medal... India applauds her for being an Inspiration and a slap to the likes of Shobha De,,
Badminton match Quarterfinals Sindhu against Wang Yian was not for the weak hearts, Odds Stacked against Sindhu on a head to head with 2-4 many would have put their money on the Chinese. Fierced Stroke play saw her through the match with 22-20 and 21-19 which almost lasted an hour..but it looked eternal for the Indian Sports lovers.
This is the 2nd time Indian in Badminton reaching Semi finals after Saina Nehwal who made a Premature exit.
Srikanth Kidambi lost the first game so easily one would have thought it should be a lopsided game. But he came back with such fierce stroke play to take the second game and almost the 3rd before Lin Dan showed his class winning the match. No medal yet the Outstanding performance of Srikanth showed what a class player is. One need to note he lost to 2 time Olympic Champion Lin Dan of China..
Little known Sports in India and neither a Lucrative one "Vault Gymnasium" has put India in the Map of World Gymnasium Stage.
Once Considered a sport of Europe and Russia, this little girl from Manipur "Dipa Karamkar" unknown to majority of Indian Sports lovers who follow conventional sports, suddenly started to take note when she Qualified for the Finals of the #Rio2016 Vault Gymnasium.
The Wonder Girl "Dipa Karamkar" suddenly caught everyone's Imagination when she made 8th of the final list of draw for the finals. Imagine the Pressure the Kid must have gone through with so much expectations of billions with Media and Social Media adding Pressure.
Came the Final just before the eve of our 70th Independence day ..Out of the First 4 players 2 had secured the top 2 slots and it was a dimming hope for the little Indian. Came in at 6th of the competition and her first Vault Performance was well above Good and better than the previous Russian performer.
Can bet many at large dont even know how the Points are being given to the players with multiple Judges coupled with technical nuances. However when her first performance was awarded with points 14.800 many wondered if she was given a raw deal with undermarked score (comparing her performance viz the Russians)..
The Second Performance was "Breathtaking" with nervous time to declare the result and finally awarded 15.266 taking her average tally to 15.066 and was placed 3rd ( had the First Vault performance was given the due points) she would have been placed much better atleast in the 2nd position.
Luck had the Last say when the American did a clinical Performance topping the Chart and pushing the Indian to the Fourth.
It does not matter "Dipa Karamkar" even if you have not got a "Medal" your performance and dedication with so much self confidence in you..you had made India very proud..
